Innovation Through Collaboration: CMT

As a member of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster, mkt is part of the Center of Excellence for Furniture (CEM), a unique national initiative developed as Romania’s first center of its kind. Through CEM, mkt gains access to modern R&D infrastructure and specialised services designed to increase the competitiveness of furniture manufacturers, from closing technological gaps and supporting digitalisation, to fostering international partnerships and access to new markets. This membership also connects mkt to broader innovation efforts within the cluster, including smart, technology-integrated furniture, circular economy practices, and the use of VR, AR, and MR solutions to modernise how products are presented and sold.
